Day 1 Col de Tricot Variant

Day 3 Hello view!

Day 4 ….Feeling very  hot under my backpack… walking to Courmayeur .

A picnic lunch after one of the hardest but most memorable of walks.
 So glad I took this variant…unforgettable.

Day 6 .   From Italy and into Switzerland –
getting high and chilly

Ascent to the Grand Col Ferret on the border

Post omelette….the beautiful walk into La Fouly

Alp Bovine…the view outside takes some beating but this did it

Day 10 Argentiere to Lac Blanc

Refuge du Lac Blanc.   No lights on but everyone home.

Sunset in the mountains….this makes everything worthwhile.

My final view of Mont Blanc as I turn and head for the
end of what has been the most incredible adventure for me.
